OMNIPOL is one of the founding members of the Association of the Defence and Security Industry of the Czech Republic (AOBP). The main business activities of Omnipol are concentrated on export and import of all commodities of the emerging defense, security, civil aerospace industry and air traffic equipment as well as hunting and sporting rifles.

Long record of deliveries of various military equipment established a strong position of Czech military products on the world market. High demand for low-cost training and education solution can be successfully met by simulation and training equipment which includes full mission simulators for tanks and other military vehicles, gunnery and driving trainers, small arms simulators and other systems for quick and cheap training of land force and special operation troops. Upgrading and modernisation of T-72 MBTs, BVP-1 and BVP-2 APCs represent a low-cost solution for many armed forces. A wide range of special purpose vehicles with excellent off-road mobility as special carriers of weapon and reconnaissance systems, UAVs and various containers can be delivered as a part of a whole systems or separately as supporting logistic vehicles.
Permanent supplies of spare parts and provision of technical services and full logistic support make the company a reliable business partner of the armed forces and police corps of the Czech Republic and many countries worldwide. And last but not least, a wide range of security and police equipment form also an important part of the OMNIPOL´s export program. A wide range of surveillance and reconnaissance systems has been exported by OMNIPOL since the 1960s. The major products marketed by OMNIPOL at present time are mobile and stationary passive surveillance and monitoring ELINT systems enabling automatic detection, identification, location and tracking of electronic signals emitted by air, ground and naval targets from tactical up to exceptionally large area of 700 km.
OMNIPOL is also a traditional exporter of Air Traffic Management systems for planning and control of the air traffic in a variety of customer-specified configurations. Primary and monopulse secondary surveillance radars for military and civilian air traffic control and precision approach radars are designed for the accurate guidance of aircraft to the glide path/course line. All of these radars fully meet all recommendations of the ICAO standards. The stationary and mobile opto-electronic surveillance and semi-automatic reconnaissance modular systems and protection modular jammer systems intended for protection against radio controlled improvised explosive devices (RCIED) activation are marketed by OMNIPOL for the area and border control and protection. These modular systems are designed according to the technical and operational customer´s requirements to be cost-effective. OMNIPOL offers also a wide range of Road Traffic Monitoring Systems produced in the Czech Republic. These multi-functional intelligent transportation solution enable beside others vehicle speed measurement (with cameras or radars), red-light monitoring and vehicle identification (automatic licence plates recognition and recording). All delivered products and systems are designed for operation in extreme climatic conditions (high or low temperatures, low visibility) and feature of high accuracy and reliability, low operational costs, easy handling and simple maintenance. |

For more than forty years – till the early 1990s, OMNIPOL was the exclusive exporter of all types of military and civil aircraft manufactured in former Czechoslovakia. Military training and transport aircraft were delivered to more than twenty Air Forces of four continents, sport and utility aircraft had their satisfied owners in many countries through Europa and America. In reaction to the significant changes in the structure of the Czech aerospace industry in the 1990s, current business strategy of OMNIPOL has been re-oriented to deliveries of components, equipment and provision of related product support services for aircraft and helicopters of East-European origin.
Close co-operation with established aircraft repair works provides company´s background for overhauls, modernisation and modification of military and commercial aircraft and their propulsion units. Avionics up-grade, airframe overhauls, interior refurbishment, VIP reconfiguration, cabin and cockpit modification are the most demanded services keeping the fleet costs down. Other aerospace products such as flight simulators, propulsion units, main and emergency military troop parachutes, high-performance sport parachutes, aircraft braking parachutes and a wide range of components belong to traditional export products of OMNIPOL for many years. |
