Caracal is now ready to provide its full range of automatic pistols and assault rifles for Special Forces at SOFEX 2016, the Special Forces Operations Exhibition in Amman, Jordan. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Caracal International is now one of the leader of small arms manufacturer in the Middle East Region.

The portfolio of Caracal International includes 9mm automatic pistol, several 1911 models in 9mm, a 9mm tactical carbine in both long barrel and SBR versions, three AR platform assault rifles and two modular sniper rifles.
At SOFEX 2016, the Company presents its latest generation of automatic pistol, the Caracal Pistol F. The 9mm Caracal ENHANCED F semi-automatic pistol was launched in 2015 and replaces the existing Caracal F. Although superficially similar to the original model the Enhanced F is a fundamentally new weapon which has been tested beyond NATO standards.
The Caracal pistol is now the new service pistol of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan. The creation of these high quality weapons and services in Abu Dhabi reflects the drive within the UAE to become a strategic defence and manufacturing hub in the Gulf region which in parallel supports the critical requirement to create a strong UAE defence industrial base.
To prove reliability and durability of Caracal pistols, these guns were submitted for official trials under NATO, German Armed Forces and German Police testing protocols, and Caracal pistols successfully passed all these trials. |

The second product showed by Caracal International at SOFEX 2016 is the Caracal Assault Rifle CAR 816 which is a is a center-fire, gas operated, tactical rifle, chambered in 5.56 x 45 NATO. The CAR 814 is a tactical weapon designed for use in law enforcement and military operations. The weapon is available in semi-automatic and select fire configurations.
This assault rifle is designed in accordance to the NATO standards to operate in extreme temperatures and functions in adverse environmental conditions including sand, mud, rain, and snow. The CAR 814 is suitable for use in desert, jungle, arctic, and maritime environments. The Caracal assault rifles are available in semi-automatic and select fire configurations and different barrels lengths, and designed in accordance to the NATO standards to operate in extreme temperatures and in all weather conditions. All the products of Caracal International are designed and manufactured in the UAE and incorporate the most modern technologies to provide the highest reliability, precision and safety. |
