CNIM Unveils Modernized PFM Motorized Floating Bridge Able To Support Heavier Vehicles

To adapt to changing operational needs of the Army, CNIM continually improves its bridging systems. In 2016, CNIM undertook a modernization program on its Motorized Floating Bridge (PFM) which was executed in conjunction with customers feedback ensuring that CNIM met their operational needs and requirements.

CNIM's modernization now allows the PFM to achieve the following:
- FASTER deployment/retrieval time: gain of 25% time thanks to the introduction of new more powerful engines. For the 2017 horizon, CNIM is working on a new option: a reduction in staff to 2 persons per module (3 are required today). |
