Through this contract, GATR will be able to integrate and test the T2C2 inflatable satellite antenna terminals with software systems for the upcoming Product Verification Testing, Logistics Demonstration and Operational Test.

Moreover, GATR Technologies delivered the first batch of five small and five medium inflatable satellite antenna terminals to the Project Manager Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (PM WIN-T), in support of the T2C2 programme. The latter will provide agile voice and data communications in the early phases of joint operational deployments and tactical edge communications in later operational phases.

If the US government finally agrees to a full rate production purchase, then a total of 780 GATR terminals could be fielded under the T2C2 project.

Mike Twyman, Executive VP of Communications, Intelligence and Surveillance systems at Cubic Global Defense, said that “GATR Technologies has worked closely with the U.S. Army to develop a successful satellite communications program with its unique and portable, inflatable satellite terminals. This award demonstrates the Army’s commitment to innovative C4ISR technologies that support and expand the warfighter’s capabilities in remote locations.”
