DASYC CMTH can house a variety of needs of the defence and civilian sector.

CMTH was developed to address the needs of the military and the civilian markets. It can cover the storage, maintenance and other housing needs.

The hangar is comprised of prefabricated panels, made of polypropylene and polyurethane. Each panel weighs 150 kg and a hangar’s total panel weight is 35 tons. When set up they can create a hangar with an area of 1,000 sq.m. Each hangar could be fitted inside nine containers, disassembled and assembled in 15 days.

The design has also included the probability of being transported inside the Lockheed Martin C-130 transport aircraft, in case of emergency.

What is unique about the design, which was finalized with the assistance of the Civil Engineering Department of the Greek National Polytechnic University of Athens, is that it does not require the construction of a special base on which it will be erected. The design and the material used are strong enough to support the structure by itself.

Hellenic Air Force has acquired a number of the CMTH. They serve as the maintenance hangar for the Eurocopter Super Puma Helicopters, featuring a gantry crane inside. Recently one was transported to an eastern Aegean island in support of the humanitarian mission of the Hellenic Air Forces, to house refugees.
