Elbit Systems of America is committed to providing our nation's Army innovative systems and technologies designed to increase mission effectiveness and provide the necessary lethality, flexibility and protection required for multi-domain operations," commented Raanan Horowitz, president and chief executive officer at Elbit Systems of America. "By working closely with users and combat developers we are supporting the Army's goal of accelerating introduction of these capabilities into the force."

Teaming with customers, agency partners, and industry, Elbit Systems of America produces advanced systems designed to outmatch enemies in an Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) encounter and to ensure the safety of our nation's warfighters as they battle in complex environments. Several of these technological solutions, from precision targeting and, networking communications to guided mortar systems, will be showcased at this year's Association of the United States Army Conference.

Elbit Systems of America showcases its family of advanced targeting systems, including the Common Laser Range Finder-Integrated Capability (CLRF-IC) and Enhanced Joint Terminal Attack Controller Laser Target Designator (EJTAC LTD). The CLRF-IF and EJTAC LTD are the results of Elbit Systems of America's focused research and development effort for advancing handheld targeting technologies and tactical laser based systems to improve engagement accuracy and enhance communications between the sensor to shooter.

As the Army's leading mortar systems provider, Elbit Systems of America will highlight its FIRECON mortar system, which is engineered for improved lethality and added force protection for deployed troops. FIRECON, an automated digital application, delivers improvements in indirect fire lethality by employing faster deployment and greater responsiveness. When coupled with Elbit Systems of America's family of advanced laser and multi-mode seekers, mortar systems can become an even more effective capability, providing deployable range and precision to ground forces.

Force protection goes beyond protection of ground forces and today's Army Aviators face increased risk of enemy countermeasures as well as disruptive flight and weather conditions. With a committed focus on advanced sensors and Degraded Visual Environment (DVE) solutions, Elbit Systems of America is designing systems to enable our Army Aviators to operate in all weather conditions and various adverse situations. Elbit Systems of America understands that to improve the ability of aviators to negotiate poor flying conditions, sensors must see through the dark night to the terrain and obstructions; flight controls should provide increased stability and aided landings, complex computing should handle the fusion of multiple sensors and conformal symbology; and, the cueing and conformal symbology should provide reliable representations of the world around the crew. By integrating these capabilities, our solutions enhance mission effectiveness and the ability to engage in all weather conditions.

As adversaries deploy a broad range of sophisticated threats, Elbit Systems of America is focusing on developing and deploying advanced threat detection systems such as the PAWS-US combat-proven IR Missile Warning System for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. PAWS-US is designed to provide highly reliable threat detection at increased engagement ranges, with greater precision and with very low false alarm rates. Coupled with Elbit Systems of America's DVE solution set, Army aviators can operate more effectively across wider range of battlefield domains and conditions.

Beyond the battlefield and air encounters, Elbit Systems of America brings protection closer to home with its advanced sensors and intelligent command and control border security solutions. Currently in operation along the Arizona border, Elbit Systems of America's border security technologies assess items of interest with speed and accuracy; then, communicates the data through an easy to use common operating picture for improved situational awareness.
