The tool has been designed for cutting, crushing, gripping and spreading. All these operations can be performed with the use of exchangeable blades that fall into a new category between light hand and heavy tools.

The tool weighs 170 kg and together with the rotator, the weight reaches 260 kg. Its cutting force ranges between 63 and 180 tons. The tool will soon undergo a series of tests to verify its characteristics.

The MHT can be fitted both on the MVF-5 and MV-4 UGVs. Both have marked significant contracts around the world. The US Army is using more than 120 MV-4 unmanned ground vehicles, coded M160, as the company has become an official supplier.

The development of the new tool was decided upon the market’s requirements. It will complement the rest of the tools, such as the gripper, the dozer blade, the rear shovel, the rear forklift, the robotic arm, the segmented roller and the tiller tool.
