|
At MSPO 2016, the International Defence Industry Exhibition currently held in Kielce (Poland), local company Flytronic (a member of WB Group) unveiled its new Los tactical UAV. According to a representative at the show, the Los (meaning moose or elk in Polish) UAV was developed in order to meet the requirements of the Polish armed forces in the field of medium-range tactical UAV systems.

| The techonology used in this UAV ensures fully autonomous take off and landing. Los is an innovative design featuring simple logistics and handling and long flight durations (18 hours) at the same time. Its twin engine design significantly improves the UAV's reliability and guarantees mission success. |

The Los UAV can be equipped with COMINT / ELINT EO payloads, contamination detection sensors as well as with warheads. The UAV takes off from a specially designed, ergonomic and mobile launch pad (catapult type). Landing is performed on a mobile landing structure which can be deployed on any terrain.
