Namibia ordered Kornet-E missiles in 2014. SIPRI does not specifiy the volume, value and delivery terms of the contract.

9K135 Kornet-E missile system can fire five types of munitions, namely anti-tank tandem-warhead 9M133-1/9M133-2 and anti-personnel thermobaric 9M133F-1/9M133F-2/9M133F-3 missiles. Kornet-E anti-tank missiles can penetrate 1000-1300mm of steel armour behind explosive reactive armour (ERA), being able to eliminate targets at distances up to 5500 m

Tula-based Instrument Design Bureau (a subsidiary of a High-Precision Weapons holding) has developed a new Kornet ATGM modification designated as Kornet-D (designation for foreign customers - Kornet-EM). The missile`s armour-piercing capability has been increased to 1300 mm (behind explosive reactive armour). Kornet-D/Kornet-EM`s range is extended to 10,000 m.

According to the Stockholm Institute, Bahrain has become the launch customer for Kornet-EM. In 2014, this country has ordered about 100 of upgraded missiles. They are reported to be intended for self-propelled ATGM system based on Russian Tigr (Tiger) 4x4 armoured vehicle developed by Russian GAZ Group.
