Ukroboronprom, the State Ukrainian Defense Industry showcases the Ukrainian-made Dozor-B 4x4 armoured vehicle at DSA 2016, the Defence Services Asia Exhibition, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Dozor B is a 4x4 light armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed and developed in Ukraine by the Company Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau (KMDB).

The Dozor-B can be used by special operations forces and rapid reaction police squads in the capacity of a transport vehicle or a platform for a variety of weapons systems and military equipment, on the battlefield or in peacekeeping operations. It can operate over different terrain types, on highway or off-the-road.
The DOZOR-B series of APC’s is provided in various configurations, including: an armored personnel carrier, armored car, NBC reconnaissance vehicle, command vehicle, medical evacuation vehicle, scout vehicle or utility automobile. The Dozor-B armored vehicle has a welded steel armor hull. It is designed to offer protection against anti-tank mines and firing of small arms. The vehicle can be fitted with add-on armour to increase the level of protection against ballistic and mine threats. The vehicle can accommodate a total of 11 military personnel including driver, commander and gunner. The troop compartment can be fitted with anti-blast seats and each side of the troops compartment is equipped with three firing ports and vision blocks for observation. The Dozor-B can be fitted with a remotely weapon station mounted on the roof of the vehicle which can be armed with a machine up to 12.7mm caliber. In September 2015, the Ukrainian armed forces have received a first batch of 10 Dozor-B. Now, the Dozor-B is ready to be exported to the Asian market. |
