“We had successful negotiations with WB Electronics and discussed new forms of cooperation and projects, allowing to shortly launch development of new and high-tech products due to joining efforts of two powerful representatives of defence industry of Ukraine and Poland”- said UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov.
The arrangements reached became UOP’s new step in deepening cooperation with foreign partners. For example, last year the agreement with WB Electronics on the use of its technology in development of Ukrainian UAV for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been reached. In turn, Ukraine has started delivery of air-to-air missiles to the Polish Air Forces. “New projects will be as successful as the preceding ones ” – said Roman Romanov. UKROBORONPROM is developing within the frameworks of the strategy “Ukrainian shield,” focused on high-tech production, transition to international standards (NATO) and supplying the army with modern types of armaments. The State Concern extends cooperation with NATO and EU member countries, as defined by the strategic course of the state. MSPO 2016 is the largest defence industry exhibition in Poland and Central Europe. This forum unites potential buyers and suppliers; this is the showcase for military equipment, technologies and products; a platform for display of the customers’ needs and requirements. |
