UkrOboronProm showcases for the first time domestic UAVs at Eurosatory 2016

The State Concern “UkrOboronProm” demonstrates domestic UAV’s for the first time at French exhibition EUROSATORY. Modern drones are represented within the framework of Ukrainian exposition.

“UkrOboronProm” equips Ukrainian army with modern weaponry and military equipment. Domestic UAV’s -represented at the international exhibition EUROSATORY – are a good example of Ukrainian defense industry progress”- said UKROBORONPROM Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Activity Denis Gurak.
UAVs represented at Eurosatory 2016 are reconnaissance assets of high-accuracy target localization, operating as a part of battle management system and gun-control. Domestic UAVs attain speed of over 100 km / h, with flight duration of 12 hours, operating at an altitude of 2 km. SC “Ukroboronprom” created aircraft cluster – Ukrainian Aircraft Corporation. SE “Antonov” will become the basis of the country’s aircraft production capacity, consolidated by the State Concern. This is where domestic UAV’s and unmanned aircraft systems are being developed. Eurosatory 2016 is the largest international exhibition, dedicated to security and defense and related advanced technologies. Eurosatory is held every 2 years, under the patronage of the French Ministry of Defence since 1967. |
