US Army contracted CACI to continue development of EW technologies | |||
The US Army has awarded CACI a multi-million, multi-year contract to continue the support its Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD). Under the agreement, the company will continue its Development, Engineering and Protection Services (DEPS) for the directorate.

More specifically, CACI will provide software and hardware engineering support to help I2WD air and ground platforms against electronic warfare attacks and assist in developing countermeasures. The contract was awarded under the Rapid Response – Third Generation contract vehicle, which represents continuing work for the company’s Intelligence Systems and Support market area. Intelligence and Informationa Warfare Directorate is the Army’s centre for research and development of advanced cyber operations, electronic warfare, signals intelligence technologies, radar, intelligence analysis, exploitation and dissemination capabilities. John Mengucci, CACI’s Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said: “CACI will continue to match our solutions to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate’s environments in order to improve the survivability of air and ground platforms.” According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “CACI’s significant investment in the field of electronic warfare, combined with our innovative technologies, is helping to provide the Army with the resources it needs to effectively meet mission requirements and support our military men and women.” |
