At Defense & Security 2017, held on November 6-9, 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand; Devtac, a japanese company specialized in protective gear, ballistic helmets and ballistic wearable gear showcases its onin Kevlar Level IIIA Tactical Ballistic Helmet.

Over the last 8 years Devtac has invested heavily in the R&D of ballistic safety. With the Ronin, the Yokohama-based company begins its long-ambition to become a major contributor to ballistic protection products.
The Devtac Ronin Kevlar Level IIIA Tactical Ballistic Helmet is the first fully-enclosed ballistic helmet offering such a level of protection. The helmet is able to stop a 44 magnum bullet while providing a 160° field of vision.
The two parts of the helmet are held together by powerful N50 Neodymium magnets. The Ronin features polycarbonate lenses, optionnal picatinny rails for sights and optics, and an instant defogging system of built-in microjet fans.
The Ronin is currently tested by some members of special operation units: special forces, SWAT team.
