At this second edition of the Special Operations Forces Innovation Network Seminar (SOFINS), being held until March 30 at Souge military camp (Bordeaux - France), the France-based company VTN is presenting its latest innovations to protect special forces and military intervention forces and make them more secure.

Consisting of a parka and over-trousers in snow camouflage, this waterproof and breathable severe weather uniform in GORE-TEX developed by VTN benefits from very good mechanical strength. It is worn over the uniform and equipment to protect the soldier from rain and snow.
Functional, operational and ergonomic, it can be taken off very quickly because of emergency zips. This light, compact uniform packs away into a waterproof bag and weighs less than 1.5 kg. This uniforme features parka and over-trousers: 100% polyamide and Gore-Tex membrane and under Body-Armour Shirt (UBAS): Pyrad Technology This uniform can be easily obtained in other colours and types of camouflage (infantry, European theatre, etc.). |

VTN is also spotlighting its Gore Pyrad shirt, which has been distributed to all instructors at the CNEC (National Commando Training Center). Shirt made of Gore Pyrad fabric, which has been specially developed to wear under a bulletproof vest. It provides optimum comfort to the wearer, thanks to its numerous vents.
