Russia to spend 1 bln rubles to extend ICBM life cycle.

The Russian Defense Ministry plans to extend the life cycle of Topol-M, Voevoda and UR-100N intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM). It will appropriate over 900 million rubles for the task up to 2020, the government procurement portal said.

"The Defense Ministry informs about a closed tender for measures to extend the life cycles of strategic missiles complexes 15P135, 15P118M, 15P155, 15P165 by fulfilling upgrades, technical assignments, and overhaul at defense enterprises," it said.

The maximum (initial) price of the contract comprises 938277574 rubles. The order is split in three parts. It is planned to disburse 345.4 million rubles in 2018, 246.6 million in 2019, and over 344 million in 2020. The work has to be completed by November 10, 2020. The contractor will be chosen on December 10, 2018. 15P155 and 15P165 indexes stand for Topol-M mobile and silo-based missiles, 15P135 - for UR-100N ICBM. 15P118M stands for Voevoda R-36M missile.
