The focus of the event was to bring together the LAND 400 Phase 3 Australian industry team to hear directly from the CEO, to meet members of the Hanwha team and to have discussions with Hanwha’s key partners EOS and Elbit. Lee emphasised the team effort required to deliver the Redback infantry fighting vehicle to the Australian Army.

Hanwha's new subsidiary in Australia is offering to supply the Australian Defence Force with its AS21 Redback to meet a requirement to procure IFVs under the Land 400 Phase 3 project.

Phase 3 of the LAND 400 project is also known as Mounted Close Combat Capability. It will see the replacement of the Australian Army’s M113 armoured personnel carriers.
