DSEI 2019: IAG unveils new 4x4 RILA Xtreme MRAP Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle.
The Company IAG (International Armored Group) with headquarter in UAE (United Arab Emirates) showcases state-of-the-art armored and MRAP vehicles specially designed for modern military and security forces offering a high level of mobility and ballistic / mine protection against new threats of the battlefield and terrorist attacks. At DSEI 2019, IAG displays two of its range of products, the Guardian Xtreme and the new RILA Xtreme in the category of MRAP vehicle.

The new RILA Xtreme is an upgrade version of the standard RILA armored personnel carrier (APC) with new features including more protection and more payloads up to 2,000 kg. The RILA Xtreme is a vehicle in the category of MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected).
The RILA Xtreme has a crew of two including driver and commander who are sited at the front of the hull, at the rear part of the vehicle can accommodate 6 to 8 military personnel. The vehicle is design based on V-hull floor to increase mine protection up to Level 4 STANAG 4569.
The RILA Xtreme can be configured to a number of roles, including armored personnel carrier, internal security, command, reconnaissance, ambulance and more.

The Guardian Xtreme is a member in the family of Guardian 4x4 APC armored vehicle personnel carrier produced and manufactured by the Company IAG (International Armored Group). This is an MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) Vehicle which is available in 4x4 and 6x6 configuration.
The layout of the Guardian Xtreme 4x4 and 6x6 MRAP is very similar to the original Guardian with the engine at the front, driver and commander in the center and troops compartment at the rear. The troop compartment at the rear is fitted with four anti-mine blast seats on each side facing each other.
The Guardian Xtreme in 4x4 configurations can carry a total of 10 military personnel including driver and commander, while the 6x6 version has a seat capacity of 12. It can be armored up to STANAG Level III protection using add-on lightweight armor. The vehicle has a V-hull shaped floor to provide superior blast protection.
The Guardian Xtreme MRAP is based on the Ford F550 Super Duty 4x4 chassis powered by a 6.7 Liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel Engine developing 330 hp. at 2,600 rpm coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 800 km.
