IDEX 2019: Inkas unveils its new Titan APC in 6x6 configuration.

Inkas showcases the Titan-DS APC armored personnel carrier, the Titan configured for SWAT Unit, and the Titan-S 6x6 APC on its booth at IDEX 2019.

The Titan-DS is a 4×4 APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) vehicle designed and manufactured by the Company Inkas. The Titan-DS is an advanced version of the Titan-D The Titan-DS can carry a total of 12 military personnel including driver and commander.

The Titan-DS is built on the Dodge Ram F5500 Tradesman® Chassis Cab powered by 6.7L Cummins turbo engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It offers ballistic protection against firing of small arms 7.62mm caliber STANAG Level II.

At IDEX 2019, Inkas Vehicles also showcases a SWAT version in the Titan family especially designed to be used by security or police forces to perform counter-terrorist operations.

A new member in the family of INKAS vehicles is the Titan in 6x6 configuration. The Titan-S APC is build on a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series OEM chassis offering spare parts availability as well as cost-effective maintenance and operating costs for military and security forces.

The Inkas Titan 6x6 APC is motorized with a 4.2L V8 diesel engine developing 128 hp. at 3,800 rpm coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. The Titan APC can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h and 60 km/h in off-road conditions with a maximum cruising range of 750 km.

The new 6x6 configuration gives increased mobility and off road capabilities to the vehicle. The vehicle is longer and it increases the troop capacity to 10 people including the driver and commander (8 people for the Titan-S 4x4 variant).
