The HUTP vehicles have been designed and developed for general military use with the capability for airborne or amphibious insertion. These vehicles can be carried internally or underslung by a variety of in-service helicopters for forwarding military deployments. They have also the capability to be airdropped by most military cargo aircraft. They are suitable for use in high-altitude and mountainous terrain, in all climatic conditions and in desert environments.

The modular design means that HUTP is highly adaptable, with the ability to carry out a wide variety of mission profiles including light strike vehicle, liaison logistic vehicle, long-range reconnaissance patrol vehicle, casualty evacuation vehicle (CASEVAC), urban operations vehicle, border guards transport vehicle and more.

The HUTP is intended for use in high-intensity operations conducted by Special Forces, marines or airborne troops, light army or standard military units. Capable of outstanding speed and agility, the HUTP vehicle provides a high level of off-road mobility, across rough and hostile terrains.

The HUTP is a complete family of variants which can be based on 4x4 and 6x6 chassis. The vehicle can be configured in 4 seats and 2 seats versions with a payload from 1,200 to 1,700 kg.
