Tehnicki Remont Bratunac delivers Despot armored vehicles to Bosnian Serb Republic police.
Bosnian arms manufacturer Tehnicki Remont (TR) has delivered two multifunctional armored vehicles to Bosnia's Serb Republic interior ministry, to be used by its police force, the ministry said. The Serb Republic's Interior ministry did not disclose the value of the purchase.

At IDEX 2019, TRB (Tehnicki Remont Bratunac) from Republika Srpska presented some of their products, such as the RS9 Vampire or the Despot 4x4 armored vehicle. The Despot is a multi-purpose, 4x4 armored vehicle, jointly developed by TRB and the Government of Republic Srpska, and was revealed on the National Day 2019 (9 January). The Despot can be used for patrol and reconnaissance missions, command role, transport and support of special operation units, counter-terrorism operations, border and territory control, the interior ministry quoted Slavenko Ristic, CEO of Tehnicki Remont, as saying.
The Despot is 6.05m long, 2.70m high and 2.56m wide, has a maximum weight of 14 tons and can accommodate 9 soldiers. The Despot can carry a payload of more than 3 tons. The maximum speed of the Despot is 120 km/h thanks to its 7.2-liter, 240Kw Mercedes-Benz engine and have a total of 400 liters of fuel, divided into two fuel tanks. The vehicle can be fitted with various weapon stations such as manned ring-mounted systems or remote control weapon stations. The vehicle is STANAG 4569 Level 2 certified and can be fitted with optional STANAG 4569 Level 3 ballistic armor. The Despot is also STANAG 4569 Levels 2a and 2b certified regarding its resistance to explosions.
The Serb Republic's interior minister Dragan Lukac said that the ministry, particularly the counter-terrorism unit, now has a new potential, enabling it to intervene with the new vehicles in all situations they face, in accordance with the law.
