The Ukrainian Ivchenko Progress state design bureau will supply the Turkish armed forces with over 500 engines worth $600 million.

According to the company, the supply of AI-450 turboprop engines to the Akinci operational-strategic UAV, as well as upgraded AI-25 turbojet engines to a promising unmanned fighter, will take place from 2021 to 2030, according to Defense Express. The first test flight of the new attack drone with Ukrainian engines took place on December 6, 2019. Akinci spent 16 minutes in the air and made a smooth, automatic landing.
