"Belarus` Belspetsvneshtekhnika-New Technologies [BSVT-NT] will unveil the Trio SAM system at the MILEX 2021 defense show that will be held in Minsk, from June 23-26, 2021. The new weapon is primarily designed to engage small unmanned aerial vehicles [UAVs].

The system consists of two vehicles: the first one is the launcher vehicle, fitted with BMS Alliance and Optical Electronic System Strizh-M3. This launcher can use two types of guided missile: the R-60NT air-to-air missile adapted to ground launch, and the 9M37M surface-to-air missile. The second vehicle is the command and control unit, fitted with a meteorological station and acoustic sensors, the "Sokol" (Falcon) Optical Electronic station with a 360° field of view and BMS Alliance.

In order to improve the protection of the crew, the family of Asilak vehicles has a double anti-mine bottom and a general armor plating corresponding to the STANAG 2 protection level. Using the modularity in the family of ASILAKlightly armored vehicles sold by LLC“BSVT – New Technologies” allows having a single base chassis with the power unit, transmission, suspension, engine, driver’s compartment and device for installing functional modules designed to solve specific problems. This provides the technical ability to replace the modules in the field by the crew.
