The MLRS is capable of firing 12 rockets of 107mm caliber at a time. The system was developed by missile specialist Roketsan with the cooperation of Mechanical and Chemical Industry Company (MKEK).

Vuran is an armored vehicle designed to accommodate a 9-man crew, driver included. This mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle was developed and produced to meet the requirements of the Turkish armed forces and police.

In July 2019, Army Recognition announced that the first batch of Vuran 4x4 armored vehicles was delivered to the Turkish army. A total of 20 Vurans have been delivered to the Turkish army, the vehicle will be used to perform patrol missions, and to secure convoys along the border.

The Vuran 4x4 armored vehicle was unveiled in May 2015 during IDEF, a defense exhibition held in Turkey. The Vuran is based on a monocoque-type design with a body shell built up from armor plates, rather than attaching them to a frame. The V-shaped hull is of all-welded steel armor construction that provides the occupants with protection against 5.56 × 45 mm small arms fire, although also available is protection against 7.62 × 51 mm armor-piercing small arms fire.

The Vuran is equipped with a remotely controlled weapon station, an automatic fire suppression system, air conditioning and a run-flat tire system. It can reach a speed of 110 km/h (68 mph) and drive through 80 cm (32 in) of water.
