IAG from UAE delivers Guardian 4x4 APC vehicles to Public Security Service of Lithuania.
According to information released by the UAE-based company IAG on February 14, 2021, International Armored Group (IAG) successfully delivered its Guardian 4x4 Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) to the Public Security Service under the Ministry of the Interior in Lithuania.

The Lithuanian Public Security Service is one of the most elite special operations institutions in Lithuania with the sole purpose of ensuring public order and national security. The IAG (International Armored Group) Guardian APCs are center to the Public Security Service’s specialized and armored vehicles fleet. This delivery is a new success story for IAG and one new more customer for the company.

The Guardian is a 4x4 armored vehicle designed and manufactured by the UAE-based company IAG. The vehicle is available in 4x4 and 6x6 configurations. The APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) version of the Guardian is already in service with military and security forces from all over the world and it is also used by the UN Forces deployed in Lebanon.
The design of the vehicle is standard for a modern APC with the engine at the front, crew in the middle, and troops' compartment at the rear. The vehicle has a crew of two including driver and commander seated at the front and can accommodate up to 8 full gear soldiers or security officers.
The Guardian is designed to offer a high level of protection against ballistic and mine/IED (Improvised Explosive Devices) blast up to STANAG 4569 Level II. It features full vehicle armoring with certified ballistic material, including front, sides, rear, roof, and floor, designed to resist incoming ballistic threats from any angle. The special lightweight armor package is designed to minimize the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) and maximize mobility and off-road capability.
The roof of the Guardian can be fitted with a one-man open-to turret as well as a remotely-operated weapon station armed with one machine gun up to 12.7mm caliber or one 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
