Major supplier of the French Army and partner to several governmental forces in the Middle East, ARQUUS will be present at the IDEX 2021 with a full range of defense products and combat vehicles.
To prepare the future and offers new solutions for defense and security forces and different kinds of conflicts, ARQUUS continues to develop new innovations and technologies with its Research and Development units which is the core of ARQUUS strategy. The new vehicles are designed to reduce the weight and increase their range, electrification, and protection in the face of new threats.
For more than a century, ARQUUS has been one of the main suppliers of the French army and dozens of governments on all five continents with tens of thousands of armored and tactical vehicles of all types used by military and security forces. From the 1897 Panhard staff car to the future Griffon and the Jaguar vehicles for the Scorpion project, ARQUUS has successfully adapted to a constantly evolving world to design the vehicles of the future.
Today, the challenges to be met in the field of defense are still immense. This is why ARQUUS earmarks 4% of its net sales to R&D (Research and Development)i.e. about 20 million Euros, of which 10% are invested in Research & Innovation. Not including production, ARQUUS has 25 people working full-time in R&D. Our innovation strategy focuses on electric and hybrid transmission, automation and robotization, and intelligent platforms.
To offer robust, reliable and effective solutions at controlled cost in terms of development, acquisition and support, ARQUUS practices frugal innovation - we adapt civil or off-the-shelf technology and innovation to military requirements. To do this, we always take into account the feedback we receive from soldiers during combat missions about the military vehicles currently in service and, alongside our customers, ARQUUS identifies new market demands and future requirements.
