Arma 6x6 stands out especially with its high payload capacity and large interior volume. It can be equipped with different weapons and turrets according to the needs. The Arma 6x6 can be used for various missions as an armored personnel carrier, armored combat vehicle, command control, reconnaissance, and CBRN reconnaissance vehicle while different weapon systems can be integrated into the vehicle.
Arma is a modular wheeled armored tactical vehicle designed and developed by Otokar following a modular design. The vehicle has a gross weight of 18,500kg and a payload capacity of 4,500kg. The 6x6 platform vehicle was unveiled at Eurosatory 2010 held in Paris. The amphibious vehicle can carry a crew of 10: commander, driver, and eight soldiers. The modular design allows for different configurations of armaments and mission equipment. Arma is expected to be more cost-effective than its counterparts and has superior technical and tactical abilities. The first export order for Arma, worth $10.6m, was placed in December 2010. In June 2011, Otokar received a $63.2m export contract for ARMA vehicles.
The Arma 6×6 was developed for the Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armoured Vehicle programme (OMTTZA) for the Turkish Land Forces. Development of the tactical vehicle was started in 2007. Arma 6×6 has been validated by Otokar R&D. Since then, several countries bought and inducted the vehicle.
Arma provides high anti-mine and ballistic protection due to its monocoque steel hull. The 425mm ground clearance protects the crew from mines. Arma is armed with a 12.7mm machine gun mounted on a circle ring support. It can also be equipped with a range of manual and remotely controlled weapons stations.
The vehicle is powered by a 450hp water-cooled turbo diesel engine that uses F-34 or F-54 fuel. It drives the wheels through a single-speed transfer box and an automatic gearbox. The engine also powers a 3.3kW converter and two 125Ah batteries which are included in the 24V DC electrical system on-board.
Arma has a power to weight ratio of 24.3hp/t and can reach a maximum speed of 105km/h. It has a double wishbone-type independent hydro-pneumatic suspension system, as well as longitudinal and transverse differential locks. The Arma can operate in a 6x4 or 6x6 mode drive. The tires are able to run flat and a central inflation system is standard. The steerable front axles give Arma a turning radius of 7.85m. The angle of approach and departure is 45°. The vehicle has a gradient of 60% and a 30% side-slope. It can also climb over obstacles of more than 60cm and cross a 1.2m wide trench.
The two hydraulically driven propellers and a pivot turn capability give Arma amphibious maneuverability on the water.

Cobra II: high protection and mobility capabilities
Cobra II 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle is a modular platform. Besides outstanding mobility, Cobra II provides higher ballistic and mine/IED protection, increased payload capacity and internal volume in comparison with Cobra I. It is optionally available in an amphibious version. Cobra II, subjected to rigorous climatic and amphibious tests in different parts of the world, traveled thousands of miles and also successfully passed the open sea swimming tests. In addition to superior mobility, Cobra II also comes with the capacity to accommodate 9 personnel including the driver and commander, offering high protection against ballistic, mine and IED threats. Cobra II has been tested rigorously in different parts of the world, on the toughest terrain and climate conditions, and made thousands of miles. Cobra II is successfully used for border protection as well as internal security and peacekeeping missions. The modular structure of Cobra II also makes the vehicle a flexible platform to be used as a personnel carrier, weapons platform, ground surveillance radar, CBRN reconnaissance vehicle, command control vehicle, and ambulance.

Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle: Cobra II MRAP
Otokar has developed the MRAP version of the modular Cobra II. It offers its users high ballistic and mine protection, as well as transport with higher mobility than previously seen in this class of vehicles. Reflecting the 35 years of experience and know-how Otokar has in land vehicles, Cobra II MRAP provides higher survivability in risky areas. It offers the crew superior protection against ballistic, mine and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Cobra II MRAP maintains similar motion and comfort parameters with Cobra II, and thanks to the mine-protected shield in the base of the vehicle superior protection can be offered without losing its highly modular structure and serviceability.
The new member of the family has a modular design like all Otokar armored vehicles. Thanks to this feature, it offers users logistical advantages while being a suitable platform for different missions.
With its modular design, Cobra II MRAP provides a high payload and spacious internal space for the integration of weapon systems and mission equipment. The vehicle can be configured with alternative seating layouts for up to 11 personnel with 3 or 5 door configurations as per specific user requirements.
