IDEX 2021: STREIT Group’s Brand Ambassador actor Steven Seagal unveils new STORM amphibious tracked vehicle.
On Day 2 of IDEX 2021, land defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Hollywood actor and STREIT Group’s Brand Ambassador Steven Seagal attended the event and unveiled the first electrical and track-based vehicle in the company’s portfolio, the STORM.

STORM is a Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle, designed to be used in a wide range of specialist military and civilian purposes. Built for the harshest environments, the vehicle offers exceptional mobility, reliability and features the latest technologies in ballistic, IED and mine blast protection. Due to the versatile nature of the vehicle, STORM can be configured with amphibious and sea floating capabilities, allowing the vehicle to submerge underwater. The STORM can be configured with remote control systems allowing for autonomous operations. Its cutting-edge look left an impression on everyone passing by the company’s stand at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, ADNEC.
“The design of the STORM looks like a crossover of Lamborghini and Stealth fighter and is definitely one of the head turners at IDEX 2021”, commented Steven Seagal, when asked how to describe the vehicle. “I believe in STREIT’s mission to save lives around the world and am honored to unveil this special vehicle which will contribute to achieving that goal”, Seagal added.
Not less impressive to the large stand at IDEX with more than 20 defense vehicles on display, is the company’s display of boats at the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition NAVDEX which is running parallel to the event.
STREIT Group’s Chairman, Guerman Goutorov explained the variety of vessels at the pier: “We are proud to show our quality and expertise with the new Airboat 950 which platform allows access to shallow draft areas that are normally inaccessible to standard watercraft. This vessel allows the user to respond quickly to any emergency close to shore or in shallow areas.
