MSPO 2021: WB Group and Bruisetech unveil Combatmate armored vehicle.
WB Group is a Polish private defense contractor. The company designs and manufactures systems that integrate communication, UAS/UAVs, loitering munitions, and fire control subsystems into robust and agile integrated solutions. WB Group innovates and develops cutting-edge technological solutions. On its side, Bruisetech, an international company based in South Africa, designs namely APCs matching regional needs, which involves that they are strong and rugged. The company’s defense products can be customized and are easily maintained in any environment. Bruisertech focuses on peacekeeping operations’ needs.

The new APC displayed by both companies at MSPO 2021 is 5.939m long, 2.49m wide and 3.01m high with its RWCS. The wheelbase is 3.50m and the association of a 37° angle of approach, a 38° angle of departure and a 0.42m ground clearance ensures a capability of passing many off-road obstacles. No detail is supplied regarding the powerpack, nor the ballistic protection.

The Combatmate APC is fitted with an RWCS that can be armed with a machine gun of up to 12.7mm on top of smoke grenade launchers. It weighs 243kg (without a weapon). Besides the 360° traverse, the shooting angle varies from -10° to +50°. It is equipped with daylight and thermal cameras.
