The latest generation of Elistair’s tethered drone, ORION 2 is an automated, powerful, and highly portable tethered UAS designed for continuous aerial day and night surveillance over large areas.
The Orion wired drone meets the needs of aerial surveillance and persistent telecommunications for civil (law enforcement, public security, private) or military (perimeter protection, tactical telecommunications ...) applications. Capable of reaching 100 meters, and equipped with a gyro-stabilized day/night camera with x30 optical zoom, Orion can detect and track a person for miles. Its micro-wire feeds it continuously and guarantees secure high-speed data transfer.
Weather-resistant, Orion includes multiple redundancies and emergency procedures allowing the operator to focus on his mission and the data received, while significantly reducing the risk of human error.
The systems developed by Elistair make it possible to quickly and easily secure a sensitive area, event or site, by offering a global and secure aerial view, on a continuous basis.
Elistair markets its products in more than 65 countries and has rapidly developed and structured to become one of the main players in the wired drone at the international level. Among its customers, the company counts the United Nations, the French General Directorate of Armaments, the UK Ministry of Defense, the U.S. Army, the New York State Police, the Belgian Police, the Spanish Police, Vodafone, Thales, and Petronas.
