Unitive is an entity of the Lacroix Group dedicated to the trading and supply of equipment and services for defense and security. The company started its activity in 2018. It markets innovative products in personal equipment for the French police forces and the armed forces. For a little over two years, it has had commercial success in ballistic protection with the sale of high-performance titanium helmets from Ulbrichts, of which it is the exclusive reseller for France.
At the forefront of ballistic protection with Unitive, Unitive is the exclusive distributor of Ulbrichts titanium helmets in France. To face the terrorist threat, internal and external security equip themselves with protective equipment allowing them to carry out their missions with the maximum security for the women and men who compose them. One of the major pieces of equipment protecting the police and the military is the helmet. Until the near past, the intervention helmet was intended to protect against 9x19mm ammunition.
Ulbrichts Protection titanium helmets protect almost the entire surface. They offer protection effective against 7.62x39 mm calibers, at a distance of only 15 millimeters. This means that the bullet is not only stopped but fatal trauma to the wearer of the helmet is avoided (residual energy <25 joules). Helmets made of other materials can only achieve this, if any, from a distance of about 50 millimeters from the edges.
