Army of UK trains Ukrainian soldiers to use M270 rocket launchers and L119 105mm guns.
According to information published by the "BBC" on July 1, 2022, in recent weeks, British soldiers have trained hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers in the use of the M270 MLRS and the L119 105mm light gun. The training has been taking place over the past few weeks in south-west England's Wiltshire county.

On June 6, 2022, the Army Recognition editorial team reported that the United Kingdom (UK) will give M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRSs) to Ukraine to help the country defend itself against Russian invasion. Citing information from the "BBC", the UK has purchased 50 L119 105mm towed howitzers for Ukraine.
On June 19, 2022, the U.S. Department of Defense on June 15, 2022, announced that after the American HIMARS and the British M270 MLRS Multiple Launch Rockets Systems, Germany announced the transfer to Ukraine of three M270 Mittleres Artillerie Raketen System (MARS) rocket launcher vehicles and GMLRS guided ammunition from German army stocks.
The M270 is an American-made Multiple Launch Rocket System manufactured by the company Lockheed Martin. The vehicle is based on the Bradley IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) tracked chassis with a crew cabin at the front and a rocket/missile launcher station mounted at the rear.
The M270B1 is the British army upgrade of the M270 which is similar to the American M270A1 but it is fitted with an enhanced armor package providing more protection against IED (Improvised Explosive Device) attacks. The M270B1 is able to fire the M31A1, a precision GPS-guided munition that is able to hit a ground target at a range of up to 80 km, and Global Positioning System (GPS) accuracy.
The L119 is a lightweight howitzer capable of providing either direct fire support at armored vehicles or buildings or indirect fire in support of the combat arms at ranges in excess of 10 km.
While primarily towed into position by a suitable vehicle, it can also be carried as a sling load underneath a helicopter for more rapid deployment, or emplacement into difficult-to-access areas where a vehicle may not be able to travel.
