The United Kingdom will deliver 120 armored vehicles to Ukraine including Mastiff, Wolfhound, Husky wheeled armored vehicles and Spartan tracked APC Armored Personnel Carrier.
According to information published by the Twitter account of Deborah Haynes security and defense editor at Sky News, on April 9, 2022, the armored vehicles the UK will be gifting Ukraine are understood to be Mastiff and Wolfhound wheeled Protected Patrol Vehicles, Husky wheeled tactical support vehicles and Spartan tracked APC Armored Personnel Carrier.
On April 8, 200, the British Government announced a new delivery of military equipment and weapons for an amount of €120 million to Ukraine. The new support will include more anti-tank missiles and air defense systems, as well as loitering munitions and non-lethal aid like helmets, body armor, and night-vision goggles.
The Mastiff is a 6x6 armored vehicle used by the British army in APC (Armored personnel Carrier) and cargo variant. The vehicle is based on the American Cougar that was designed and developed by the company Force protection. The Mastiff entered into service with the British army in 2009 and was deployed for combat operations in Afghanistan.
The Mastiff is designed to conduct road patrols and convoys offering a high level of protection and mobility in all-terrain conditions. The roof of the vehicle is fitted with a weapon station that can be armed with a 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun. It has a crew of two and can accommodate up to eight infantrymen.

The Wolfhound is a 6x6 armored vehicle based on the Mastiff Protected Patrol Vehicle which was also designed and developed by the American company Force protection. It is a truck variant of the Mastiff used to carry out a variety of tasks such as moving bulky stores for use in the construction of forwarding bases; as a Gun Tractor and Gun Limber for the Royal Artillery’s 105 Light Gun and finally to carry general stores like ammunition, food or water.

The Husky is a 4x4 armored high-mobility tactical support vehicle (TSV) manufactured by the American company Navistar Defence. It is based on the International MXT 4x4 light truck chassis. the first Husky vehicles were ordered by the British army in 2009. The vehicle is in service with the British army in three variants including utility vehicle, ambulance, and command post.
The Husky is armed with one 7.62mm machine gun. The Husky is the sister vehicle of the Wolfhound and Coyote as part of the tactical support vehicle program of the British army. The vehicle has a crew of two and can carry two additional soldiers. It can be armored with a complete range of ballistic IED and mine-blast protection solutions, integral and A-kit / B-kit configurations, and 360° degree crew protection.

The Spartan is a tracked APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) in the family of CVRT light reconnaissance armored vehicles that entered into service with the British army in 1978. The hull of the Spartan is made of all-welded aluminum armor and provides the crew with protection against attack over its frontal area from 14.5 mm projectiles and against 7.62 mm armor-piercing rounds over the remainder of the vehicle.
As APC, the Spartan has a crew of three including a driver, commander and gunner, and can carry four infantrymen. The three infantrymen are seated on the left side of the vehicle with a fourth to the rear of the vehicle commander/gunner and section commander/radio operator, facing the rear. The vehicle is fitted with a weapon station cupola armed with one 7.62mm which can be aimed and fired from inside the vehicle. The cupola has a single-piece hatch cover that opens to the left.
The Spartan is powered by a Jaguar J60 No 1 Mk 100B 4.2 liter 6-cylinder petrol engine developing 190 hp at 4,750 rpm. It can reach a maximum road speed of 72 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 480 km.
