The Grad multiple launch rocket system, even after almost 60 years from the date of its creation, remains in demand by the armies of many countries. Throughout its history, the system has shown high efficiency in many armed conflicts. The 122-mm MLRS Tornado-G, developed on the basis of Grad, also received worldwide recognition. Its survivability on the battlefield, according to experts, has increased by almost five times. "Tornado-G" has a modern navigation system that allows you to receive and process signals from satellites, making the system more maneuverable. In the event of a threat, the MLRS can quickly change position, and long before all the projectiles fired by the system reach the target. Such maneuverability makes it difficult for the enemy to detect it and makes it almost impossible to hit the Tornado-G with return fire. Moreover,
“Both systems, both Grad and Tornado-G, have successfully established themselves in the market, so there is increased interest in them all over the world today. But first of all, we must ensure the fulfillment of contracts under the state defense order. For these purposes, it is planned to use both of our Perm sites - ZAO SKB and the subsidiary of Splav - the Motovilikha design and production division. We have already issued the necessary licenses for carrying out work in the field of weapons and military equipment,” said Igor Nasenkov, General Director of Technodinamika.

Thus, the production capacities of the Motovilikha military division and the Splav division will be fully utilized, which will require staff replenishment for new jobs. To date, the enterprises are conducting commissioning of new equipment, updating the IT infrastructure in order to preserve data, primarily electronic versions of design and technological documentation, financial, economic and accounting information, building data exchange networks with the parent organization.
Rostec State Corporation has attracted Technodinamika holding to manage the military division of PJSC Motovilikhinskiye Zavody since March 2020. In order to maintain and develop its core production competencies, Technodinamika is investing heavily in the modernization of production at the Perm site. The holding has already completed procurement procedures for the purchase of modern high-performance CNC metalworking machines for milling, turning, boring and other works for the Special Design Bureau CJSC for a total amount of 2 billion rubles.
