The Crossbow system boasts impressive capabilities, such as the ability to launch the initial round in under 30 seconds, achieving a maximum firing rate of 10 rounds per minute, and sustaining a rate of fire of 6 rounds per minute, all with minimal delay in sensor-to-shooter coordination. Furthermore, it supports a diverse range of munitions, including the Iron Sting guided mortar munition, delivering an effective range of up to 10 kilometers. Loading the Crossbow turret is seamless, as it does not require indexing, and it features a 360-degree infinite pivot capability.
Designed to be seamlessly integrated into UT-120m turrets, the Crossbow system can be adapted for use on 6X6 and 8X8 platforms, tracked vehicles, and stationary installations. This versatility ensures full compatibility with existing NATO ammunition standards. The Crossbow is equipped with an advanced computerized fire control system and a land navigation system, enabling operation even in GPS-denied environments.
