The EISS comprises several key components, including the thermal helmet camera, eye display screen, helmet mounting base, microphone for communication with leadership, protection shield, wireless communication device, body vitals watch, communication tablet, laser distance measurement, system battery, charging system, thermal vision device D27, and a tactical drone.
A crucial aspect of the system is the ballistic helmet, designed to accommodate various communication systems, night vision capabilities, and a range of helmet accessories. This helmet provides multi-hit protection on all sides and features a 4-point adjustable harness system for comfort, balance, and stress fatigue reduction. Its ergonomic design is complemented by a quick-release buckle for ease of use.
The thermal helmet camera integrated into the EISS system is equipped with an uncooled thermal detector, offering a resolution of 480x640 pixels, a spectral band of 8-14μm, and a field of view of 31°H x 24°V. Additionally, AIO introduces the Osprey, a day-thermal handheld observation device with infrared capabilities, including a mono-field of view of 14° in the IR channel. The Osprey is designed for versatile field use and offers Bluetooth and USB connectivity for coordinate sharing.
An essential component for precision in the field is the Laser Rangefinder Monocular, featuring a magnification of 7X, a 24 mm objective lens diameter, and a 7.5° field of view. This rangefinder ensures accuracy within 1±m for distances below 500 m and 2±m for distances exceeding 500 m. AIO also introduces the Uncooled Aiming Thermal Imager for Small Weapon Model D27, tailored for light weapons, with a high-sensitive uncooled 640x480 pixels resolution detector.
The body armor by AIO is engineered with a focus on durability, comfort, and versatility. It incorporates reinforced seams strategically placed for improved strength and longevity, along with an advanced sweat control ventilation lining for enhanced user comfort during extended duty shifts. The body armor is manufactured with high-quality materials, ensuring outstanding performance, and its easy-care washable cover adds to its practicality.
To support the EISS system, AIO presents the System Battery, a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery with specific features to meet various technical requirements. Additionally, the Soldier Portable Charger Lite complements the system with its own set of technical specifications, offering a compact and portable charging solution.
The System Computer, another essential component, provides PC-level performance in a compact handheld device. Designed for heavy use on the frontlines, this computer offers flexibility with customization options, including RS232, USB, LAN, GPS, and more. One notable feature is the guaranteed performance, supported by lifetime assistance to ensure the equipment maintains peak functionality throughout numerous missions.
Completing the EISS system is the Communication Radio by AIO, boasting advanced wireless integration capabilities. Operating seamlessly in IP infrastructure, this communication radio supports Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET), video streaming, and the Spearnet Vehicular Mount (SNVM). With a range of up to 2 km per hop line-of-sight and secure voice, data, and video capabilities, the Communication Radio proves its effectiveness in diverse and challenging environments.
