The CAMM-based Land Ceptor air defense system is already in service with the British army since 2018.The system was procured under a contract awarded to MBDA in 2014, which covered the development, production, and integration of the Land Ceptor system into the Army's air defense structure.
Poland has also selected the CAMM air defense system for its national air defense capabilities. In 2018, the Polish Ministry of Defense signed a contract with MBDA for the procurement of the CAMM-based air defense system, which will be delivered under the Wisła program.
Under the Wisła program, Poland plans to acquire a modern air defense system to replace its aging Soviet-era systems. The CAMM-based system, which will be known as the Narew system in Poland, was selected as the preferred option after a competitive tender process.
CAMM (Common Anti-Air Modular Missile) is a family of air defense missiles developed by MBDA, a European missile manufacturer. The CAMM system is designed to provide air defense against a wide range of airborne threats, including aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and cruise missiles.
The CAMM missile family includes several variants, including the sea-based CAMM-ER (Extended Range) and the ground-based Land Ceptor. The CAMM-ER is designed to be launched from naval vessels, while Land Ceptor is designed for land-based air defense systems.
CAMM missiles are designed to be highly maneuverable, using thrust vectoring technology to provide increased agility and accuracy. They are also equipped with active radar seekers, which allow them to detect and track targets even in cluttered environments.
Overall, CAMM missiles are considered to be highly capable air defense systems, providing effective protection against a range of airborne threats in a variety of operational environments.

The CAMM missile is a highly maneuverable missile, using thrust vectoring technology to provide increased agility and accuracy. It is equipped with active radar seekers, which allow it to detect and track targets even in cluttered environments. The missile also has a two-way data link, which allows it to receive updated target information in flight.
The Land Ceptor variant of the CAMM missile used in the British Army's air defense system has a range of up to 25 km and can engage targets at altitudes of up to 8 km. The missile is carried in a launcher vehicle, which can carry eight missiles at a time. The launcher vehicle is integrated with a fire control system, which provides target acquisition and engagement capability.
