The ALPAR UGV is a cutting-edge unmanned platform designed to carry out tasks in unison with both manned and unmanned elements in the combat zone. It caters to the increasing demand for robotics and unmanned ground vehicles by the armed forces. ALPAR boasts new capabilities, such as a Gross Vehicle Weight of 15,000 kg, a hybrid power pack with a diesel range extender, and a highly durable suspension system, offering the commanders exceptional efficacy in tactical operations planning and execution.

The high voltage electric system using 750 VDC Li-Ion Battery and the automatic track tensioning system further ensure that the ALPAR UGV stands ready to redefine battlefield strategy and operations.

Meanwhile, the ARMA II 8x8 Armored Recovery Vehicle (ARV), also showcased by OTOKAR, is poised to revolutionize repair and recovery on the battlefield. Built on the ARMA II driveline, the ARV is equipped with a versatile dozer blade at the front, which can tilt 10° left or right. This blade is used for obstacle clearance, trench construction, and several other operational tasks.

However, the defining feature of the ARMA II ARV is the robust 25 t/m crane, capable of lifting a 3.7-tonne load at a maximum extension of 6 meters. Four outriggers are fitted for stability, two at the front and two at the rear. The rear ones serve dual functions - stabilization and anchoring the vehicle when the rear winch is used to extract another vehicle. The rear spades can be turned downwards to fully exploit the winch's 35-tonne pull, which can be doubled using a pulley, thus enabling recovery of a main battle tank.

OTOKAR's latest offerings demonstrate their commitment to pushing the boundaries of battlefield technology. The unveiling of the ALPAR UGV and the ARMA II ARV during IDEF 2023 marks a new era in warfare, highlighting the increasing role of unmanned systems and robust recovery vehicles in tactical operations.
