Designed with Roketsan's expertise, Burç is specifically tailored to protect mobile and fixed units, as well as strategic installations on battlefields and rear areas. Its main armament consists of eight Sungur anti-aircraft defense missiles housed in two quadruple pods, complemented by a 20mm caliber three-barrel cannon as an auxiliary weapon.

Enhanced with four AESA radars, Burç establishes an all-in-one protective barrier with an exceptional turret rotation capability of a complete 360 degrees. It benefits from seamless data communication with command and control networks, using the JREAP-C protocol, and easily integrates with the interface of the early warning air defense command and control system, as well as friend-or-foe recognition (IFF) capabilities.

Burç safeguards fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with an effective range ranging from a minimum of 500 meters (1,640.42 feet) to a maximum of 8 kilometers (4.97 miles), reaching an altitude of 4 kilometers when combined with the Sungur missiles.

The vehicle is based on the PARS 8x8, manufactured by the Turkish company FNSS.The PARS 8x8 is a versatile armored vehicle offering excellent mobility with eight-wheel drive; there is also a 6x6 and a 4x4 version available. It provides high-level protection, a modular design for various missions, and can carry 14 to 18 troops, depending on the variant. It has an operational range of 1000 km and can reach a speed of 100 km/h on land and 8 km/h on water.

With its 360-degree detection and tracking capability for multiple targets simultaneously, Burç meets various needs on today's dynamic battlefields. Its mobility in challenging terrains further reinforces its power. Having successfully produced prototypes, Roketsan is ready to mass-produce this system, ensuring air defense capabilities for modern warfare scenarios.
