Rear Admiral Tangsiri emphasized the integration of AI in four major areas: navigation, drones, missiles, and submarine operations. Notably, navy vessels have been equipped with AI for autonomous long-distance navigation and crewless operational capabilities.

Echoing this, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard, Commander of the Iranian Army Air Defense Force, highlighted the crucial role of AI in modern warfare. He identified adopting AI technologies as a top priority for Iran's air defense units.

The advancement in indigenous military technology signifies Iran's commitment to self-sufficiency in the defense sector. Iranian military experts have made significant strides in developing a wide range of domestic equipment, reducing reliance on foreign arms.

Iranian officials maintain that their military enhancements, including advancements in missile and drone technology, are purely defensive. They have consistently asserted that Iran's defense capabilities are not open for negotiation and are solely geared toward maintaining the country's security.
