The Aero 4×4 comes with a 4.2-liter diesel engine that outputs 131 KM of power. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 100 km/h and is fitted with "Run Flat" tires, enabling it to continue driving even if the tires are punctured. With dimensions of 3.6 meters in length, 2.1 meters in width, and 2.3 meters in height, the vehicle weighs 1.8 tons. For a safe airdrop, it requires two parachutes and a landing area of at least 700 square meters.

Designed for easy transport, the Kafar Aero 4×4 can be airlifted by helicopters using an attached platform or housed inside transport aircraft like the C-130 or C-295M. Notably, a single C-130 aircraft can accommodate three Kafar Aero 4×4 vehicles, highlighting its adaptability for various military operations.

The 6th Airborne Brigade, a high-readiness air-mobile unit of the Polish Army, is one of the primary users of the Kafar Aero 4×4. The vehicle enhances the brigade's capabilities by serving as a versatile platform for transporting equipment, and supplies, and even towing artillery systems weighing more than 1,000 kg. It can also be used for weapon assembly or casualty evacuation tasks.

The Aero 4×4 has been field-tested in various scenarios. It was deployed during the international exercise Defender Europe 2020 and was also used in operations related to the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. In both cases, the vehicle received positive feedback for its "mobility, off-road capability, and versatility of applications," as reported by Defense Brief.
