According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Fatah-II missile is equipped with major technological innovations, including state-of-the-art avionics and an advanced navigation system. With its unique flight trajectory, the Fatah-II is capable of striking targets with remarkable precision at a distance of 400 kilometers, underlining its strategic importance.

This test was witnessed by senior officers from all three branches of the Pakistani armed forces, as well as scientists and engineers, highlighting the collaborative effort behind this development. High-ranking officials, including the president, prime minister, and chief of army staff, extended their congratulations, emphasizing the significance of this achievement for the country.

The ISPR emphasized that this success is part of Pakistan's broader strategy to strengthen deterrence in the region and enhance strategic stability. The operationalization of full-spectrum deterrence, fitting within the framework of credible minimum deterrence, is essential for Pakistan's defense strategy.

This test follows a series of significant developments in Pakistan's defense sector, including the test of the Ababeel ballistic missile system in October. These tests have validated various technical aspects and performance metrics, demonstrating Pakistan's multi-dimensional approach to maintaining a robust defense infrastructure.

Pakistan continues to focus on advancing its missile technology, as illustrated by the training launch of the Ghauri Weapon System, following the Ababeel test, and the successful test of the Fatah-1 system in August 2021. These initiatives highlight Pakistan's commitment to maintaining a credible and effective defense posture, while reinforcing its position on the international stage as a strategic military power.
