The Lazanski 8x8 incorporates robust components, special materials, and cutting-edge technology. The vehicle has a maximum gross weight of up to 36 tonnes and is powered by a 711-hp turbocharged engine. It is designed as a multi-purpose platform for a range of military operations. Lazanski's hull is made of welded steel and is combined with ceramic armor to achieve standard ballistic protection of STANAG 4569 level 5. It can be upgraded to level 6.

The vehicle is equipped with a 711 hp Caterpillar C13 turbocharged engine and an Allison 4000SP 6-speed automatic transmission. It also features a two-stage Katsa transfer case with a forced differential and neutral position. The powertrain consists of SISU axles with electro-pneumatic locks. Depending on the configuration, the vehicle weight can vary from 26 to 36 tonnes.

The layout of the Lazanski includes the power unit at the front right, the driver at the front left, and all the rest of the hull at the rear is left free for the troop compartment. The vehicle has a crew of three, including a driver, commander, and gunner, while the rear portion of the vehicle can accommodate up to 10 infantrymen seated on anti-mine seats. A hydraulic ramp is located at the rear of the hull.

The vehicle is equipped with a remotely controlled Russian AU-220M weapon station armed with a 57mm automatic cannon and a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun. The turret can engage targets in motion or in static conditions. The fire control system is used to detect and identify targets as well as for setting up and conducting all fire operations.

The vehicle is equipped with six integrated day/night IR cameras and displays for the crew and infantry compartment. Additional features include an inertial navigation system, a combat management system, air conditioning, and an intercommunication system.

The Lazanski 8x8 provides mine protection up to Stanag levels 4a and 4b. Special antiblast seats are included for the crew. Ballistic protection kits for Stanag levels 5 and 6 are under development.
