The M&P9 Metal M2.0 is equipped with a range of improved features designed to enhance performance. It includes a Faxon compensator, which effectively reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, thereby improving shooting accuracy and comfort. Additionally, the pistol incorporates custom lightening cuts in the slide to reduce weight and improve reliability, especially when compensated. This feature is complemented by an improved sear, offering a lighter and crisper trigger pull, an advantage in precision shooting scenarios.
Aesthetic appeal is not overlooked, with the pistol sporting a sharp OD Green Cerakote finish, giving it a distinctive and robust appearance. This finish is more than just cosmetic; it contributes to the weapon's durability. The pistol's all-metal frame, made of aluminum, ensures it can withstand harsh elements while maintaining a well-balanced grip.
In terms of specifications, the M&P9 Metal M2.0 measures 21.6 cm in length, 3.3 cm in width, and 14 cm in height, weighing 850 grams. It is a full-sized, striker-fired 9mm caliber firearm with a 12.2 cm stainless steel barrel. The grip is made of aluminum, ensuring a firm and comfortable hold. It features night sights and is optics-ready, but does not include a thumb safety or laser. The firearm is equipped with a threaded barrel, allowing for the attachment of suppressors or other muzzle devices.
The package includes a custom hard case, two 23-round magazines, two 17-round magazines, a C.O.R.E™ plate system for mounting optics, a karambit style knife, and a custom M&P Spec Series Challenge Coin. The MSRP for this complete kit is set at $999.
