The Fractl:2 system is revolutionary in its ability to penetrate steel and intercept drones flying at 100 km/h, even at distances of several kilometers. With the synergy of precision tracking powered by AI and cutting-edge directed-energy laser technology, the system promises millimeter accuracy over a range of one kilometer. Smaller, lighter, and safer than currently tested directed-energy defensive systems, Fractl:2 represents a breakthrough in the fight against drones and other autonomous weapons systems.

Portable and battery-operated, Fractl:2 can neutralize over 50 drones with a single charge and can be plugged into a power outlet for continuous operation. This innovation represents a nearly cost-free method of operation, with light energy replacing traditional ammunition. Additionally, the system utilizes a laser with improved eye safety, significantly reducing the risk of blindness associated with standard laser systems. This advancement makes Fractl:2 exceptionally safe for personnel in the field while minimizing danger to civilians and the operational environment.

The effectiveness and strategic importance of technologies like Fractl:2 have been glaringly evident in light of the war in Ukraine. Drones, used for reconnaissance as well as attacks, have underscored the need for effective and adaptable defense. Directed-energy technology like Fractl:2 offers an agile response, capable of quickly neutralizing aerial threats without the cost and logistical burden of traditional ammunition. This ability to conserve resources while ensuring robust defense presents a crucial strategic and economic double advantage in prolonged conflicts, where the cost and availability of ammunition can become major limiting factors. The war in Ukraine has highlighted the importance of adopting technologies that can not only improve efficiency on the battlefield but also offer significant economic benefits, emphasizing the indispensable role of innovative systems like Fractl:2 in modern warfare.

With over 200 successful drone eliminations indoors and outdoors, Fractl:2 is not only revolutionizing defense against drones; it also offers a reliable and effective platform suitable for operations in urban environments and other complex operational environments. The availability of Fractl:2 to ADF operators by mid-2024 symbolizes a significant step towards a future where advanced defense technologies will play a central role in safeguarding national and international security.
