The BKS 338 uses the 338 Norma Magnum (8.6x63 mm) caliber and weighs 11 kg. Once disassembled, it reaches a compact length of 76.2 cm, facilitating its transport and rapid deployment in the field. In full operational configuration, including 400 rounds, the total combat weight varies between 32 and 35 kg, making it manageable for a firing team of one to two people.

One of the strengths of the BKS 338 lies in its rate of fire, capable of reaching 550 rounds per minute. This rate, combined with its effective range of 1700 meters in supersonic mode, makes it a formidable weapon. The BKS 338 is not only effective at medium distances; its maximum range extends up to 6500 meters, allowing targets to be engaged well beyond the range of many other precision rifles. The initial projectile velocity reaches 830 meters per second, ensuring a stable trajectory and effective penetration even at long distances.

FK BRNO is a Czech company specializing in the design and manufacture of firearms. Founded in the Czech Republic, FK BRNO quickly gained an international reputation thanks to its technical innovations and the quality of its products. The company is distinguished by its research and development-focused approach, incorporating the latest technological advances to meet the needs of military users, law enforcement, and sports shooters.

FK BRNO is also known for its high-end semi-automatic pistols, such as the famous FK BRNO PSD pistol, which combines advanced ergonomics with firing power and is also showcased at Eurosatory.

Its combination of relative lightness, high rate of fire, and range makes it an interesting weapon for missions requiring superior precision and firepower. This new machine gun has caught our attention at the French arms exhibition, and we look forward to seeing a demo, perhaps soon.
