SKYDOME is engineered to effectively counter a wide range of current aerial threats, including missiles, artillery, and rockets (RAM). The system integrates cutting-edge technologies to provide a flexible and modular multi-layered defense. Its ability to adapt to both symmetric and asymmetric threats makes it essential for protecting high-value military bases and civilian infrastructures. By combining advanced sensors and effectors, SKYDOME ensures precision and efficiency, playing a crucial role in contemporary air defense. The system's modularity allows for scalability to meet emerging challenges, ensuring a robust response to evolving threats.

Korkut is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system developed by Aselsan, entering service in 2019. It features twin 35mm cannons on an ACV-30 platform, designed for short-range air defense against aircraft, helicopters, and drones. Korkut includes advanced targeting with a sophisticated fire control radar system and electro-optical sensor unit for high accuracy in diverse combat environments.

HISAR A is a short-range air defense missile system developed by Aselsan, produced in the early 2010s, and entered service in 2020. It protects military units and critical infrastructure against aerial threats, including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and drones, using advanced radar and infrared tracking capabilities for precise target engagement.

HISAR O is a medium-range air defense system, also developed by Aselsan, and entered service shortly after HISAR A. It provides broader coverage, targeting threats at medium altitudes and ranges. HISAR O integrates advanced radar, command and control systems, and missile technology for effective interception of enemy aircraft, helicopters, and missiles, enhancing a layered air defense strategy.

SIPER(Hisar-U) is a long-range air defense system under development by Aselsan, expected to enter service in the mid-2020s. It aims to counter advanced threats, including ballistic missiles, at greater distances and altitudes. SIPER offers comprehensive protection for strategic assets and population centers with advanced radar, guidance systems, and interceptors.

The development of SKYDOME by ASELSAN demonstrates the company's commitment to continuous innovation in the defense sector. The proliferation of this system could significantly enhance the security of armed forces and critical infrastructures worldwide, aligning with global strategic defense needs.
