The SAR9 Gen3 models incorporate advanced engineering with a polymer frame, stainless steel slide, high-quality alloy steel barrel, and sophisticated safety features. These features include interchangeable grips and backrests, a manual safety, a status indicator, and a Picatinny rail compatible with a wide range of accessories. The pistol's design has been improved to provide superior reliability and an optimal user experience. This new model is available in three variants, each offering high performance, enhanced safety, increased shooting comfort, and extensive customization options.

Featuring an 18-degree grip angle for improved control and a cover that facilitates rapid firing, the SAR9 Gen3 is designed to be easy to use even under challenging conditions. It includes a 90-degree trigger break angle, a shortened trigger path, and enhanced trigger sensitivity for precise shooting. Additionally, the pistol has been engineered with wider cooling channels for better heat dissipation from the barrel and is equipped with advanced reddot sight capabilities.

The SAR9 Gen3 is available in 9mm caliber and offers practical dimensions for carrying: a length of 193mm, a width of 36mm, and a weight of 760 grams. It also comes with magazine options of 15, 17, and 19 rounds and is available in several colors, including black, platinum, khaki, bronze, and inox.

Sarsilmaz has an annual production capacity of 440,000 pistols and 120,000 rifles and machine guns, making it one of the largest arms producers in Europe. The company exports its fully locally produced weapon systems to over 80 countries worldwide.

The SAR9, the predecessor of the SAR9 Gen3, was already popular with the public. It remains to be seen how the public will receive this new Turkish pistol. The price has slightly increased compared to its predecessor, and thus, an improvement in the quality of the pistol is expected.
