It was developed by Nimr, a UAE-based defense manufacturer and a subsidiary of Edge Group, to meet modern combat and tactical requirements. The vehicle’s design focuses on enhanced mobility, superior protection, and increased operational flexibility. Specifically, the Ajban Mk2 is built to meet STANAG 4569 standards, providing scalable ballistic, mine, and improvised explosive device (IED) protection. The Ajban Mk2 is powered by a high-performance diesel engine capable of producing up to 300 horsepower, coupled with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive system that provides exceptional off-road capabilities.
