The Ukrainian Armor company recently announced the successful completion of tests for its Novator, a wheeled armored personnel carrier with a capacity of 10 seats. This version of the Novator is equipped with the TAVRIA-14.5, a domestically produced remote-controlled weapon station designed for the KPVT 14.5mm machine gun.

The Novator from Ukrainian Armor is an armored personnel carrier that integrates the robust chassis of the Ford F-550. Designed to offer high levels of protection and versatility, the Novator is tailored to meet the demands of military and security forces. It stands out for its ability to accommodate up to 10 occupants, ensuring their safety with advanced armor solutions while maintaining operational flexibility.

The vehicle's design emphasizes durability and adaptability, incorporating the F-550's reliable performance into a military-grade vehicle. This integration allows the Novator to navigate challenging terrains and operate in diverse environments, making it to active combat roles.

According to Ukrainian armor company, the TAVRIA-14.5 is a ukrainian-made combat remote-controlled unmanned turret, armed with a 14.5 mm caliber machine gun (KPVT) and equipped with a 200-round ammunition supply. The TAVRIA-14.5, through its advanced and unique weapon control system, which includes a high-quality stabilization system, enables the targeting and tracking of objectives, as well as precise firing at moving enemy targets. The TAVRIA-14.5 is equipped with an electro-optical module that allows for the detection of targets at distances of over 5 kilometers, both day and night. The level of armor protection of the combat module meets NATO standards - STANAG 1. The developer of the combat module has ensured an appropriate level of armor protection for the body of the electro-optical module and the blocks of the weapon control system.

The Novator, is designed with a modular approach that allows for the integration of various payloads, extending its utility far beyond traditional personnel transport. This adaptability enables the Novator to be equipped with an array of weaponry and equipment, including sophisticated air defense systems. Such flexibility ensures that the Novator can serve multiple roles on the battlefield, from providing direct fire support with machine guns and grenade launchers to engaging aerial threats with advanced air defense capabilities.

The novator was created on real combat experience of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to be in service in ukrainian armed forces during year 2024
